The Gramercy Park Hotel in New York is known just as much for its art collection and it is for its luxurious design.
With an art collection valued at 50 million dollars, the hotel adorns its walls by alternating portraits from Jean-Michel Basquiat, Enoc Perez, Keith Haring, Tom Wesselman and Damien Hirst. Their latest exhibit may have rendered the hotel as the best gallery in New York.
In the exclusive Rose Bar, guests can currently view 16 original works by Andy Warhol, the artist and pioneer of pop-art.
His portraits include celebrities such as Jerry Hall, Rudolph Nureyev and the King of Iran. However, the most valuable pieces are two paintings of Giorgio Armani.
While there’s no official duration of the exhibit, they tend to last from about six to twelve months.
