Cave-like atmosphere

Dim lighting, rugged stone masonry and water-like glass panels help create a cavernous atmosphere inside this Tokyo restaurant, designed by architect Ryoji Iedokoro.  Located in the Roppongi district of the city, Nikunotoriko offers an alternative take on yakiniku – a style of Japanese cuisine where customers cook small pieces of meat over a gridiron on their table. In the main dining room located on the ground floor, the walls are made to resemble rocks while a 6.5 meter glass table dominates the center of the room.
