The well known duo in the custom made community, Anvil Motociclette, this time decided to build a superstar “tool” from the USA, the one that the dirt biker, Albert Burns used to ride.
Burns started to race with a Harley Davidson but he quickly moved to the Indian Motorcycles.
When the Anvil duo approached Indian with the idea of building a motorcycle dedicated to Albert “Shrimp” Burns, the company sent over to Alessandro and Marco an Indian Scout Sixty and the two men got to work.
Burns was racing both in dirt tracks and board tracks, so Anvil’s duo wanted to make a bike that would meet both these needs.
The V-twin (999cc) engine was the first must-do while the original aluminum frame was replaced with a bespoke steel frame. The forks were replaced with Ohlins elements which improved control while the brakes are now Brembo.
We bet that Burns would be happy to drive the Anvil Motociclette Indian Shrimp Mille!
