Anything for power

To anyone who has watched the evolution of the Showtime TV series, Billions, one thing is certain: has learned enough about the backdrop of political and economic power play in the US, at the heart of capitalism, at least as how it is done. The constant rivalry within the political institutions as well as the relentless war between the hedge funds, are perfectly imbued in the screen, both through the characters and the directorship that keeps the audience’s interest unimportant. With top acting performances, Paul Giamatti, Damian Lewis and the outstanding Maggi Siff develop complex characters – of high intelligence – in an exemplary way.
