Editor’s Letter – Life Is A Movie

Cinema provokes something that I can only define with a word: Magic

I sometimes think when I need to isolate myself to go somewhere for a few days and have some movies with me to see them again for one more time.

The classic, now Coen brothers’ The Big Lebowski, the dude!

Lucchino Visconti’s magnificent film, “I’ll Gattopardo”. Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita” with the unique MARCELLO. “The Party”, perhaps the most iconic comedy.

La Piscine. French sensuality, “Adieu l’ami”. Charles Bronson, Alain Delon.

«Le Mépris». The movie icon “Bullitt”, Steve McQueen. “The Godfather”, what to start with … “The Deer Hunter”, I can not forget to mention it. «Scarface», the world is yours. “Shame,” male obsession. A Single Man, a stylish movie. “La Grande Belezza”, decadence.

I do not want to go on with others, but surely these films will be back again.

The cinema for me is a magical space-time.

It will not stop intriguing me even though I’m behind the cameras at my job. There are daily stories around us that sometimes make me to think of film scripts. From social to very essential.

Because the best films are playing in life “no budget” .
