La Femme la Plus Assassinée du Monde

To the pleasant surprise of the home entertainment audience, an extraordinary mystery thriller signed by Franck Ribière is on Netflix.

Against a 1930s Quartier Pigalle backdrop and with the Théâtre du Grand Guignol scenery, Ribière, after his great successes: Cell 211, The Oxford Murders and The Last Circus, unravels the story of the most murdered woman of the world.

La Femme at Plus Assassinée du Monde revolves around the life and eccentric persona of the Grand Guignol Theater leading lady, Paula Maxa.
Maxa on stage and as part of the show was murdered more than 10,000 times and in 60 different ways. And yet Maxa after her “murdera” was always alive for the next show.

The plot thickens to the point where it “hits a nerve” when connecting the dramatized killings on stage with real murders that are happening in Paris.

Paula Maxa is played wonderfully by the French actress, Anna Mouglalis, who is known as Coco Chanel in Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky and as Anna in the same-titled film by Charles-Olivier Michaud.
